Each of the five fireplaces are a pre-engineered masonry system utilizing volcanic pumice and calcium aluminates cements to form refractory components that reflect heat and are designed to insure proper draw.
The similarity ends there with each fireplace detailed with a combination of on-site custom masonry, cast stone and wood.
The Great Room and Hearth Room mantels are exquisite pieces, mirror images of antique mantels discovered in France and hand-carved by artisans commissioned by François & Co. using Scagliola Stone.
